Judge Hugh Jones
OB 1st Ch Stecal`s Step Out With Style. Aptly named and a real
eyecatcher.  Well matured lady having all the essentials I require
in a good example of the breed.  Excellent headpiece, good reach
of neck and well boned and straight front.  Nice height to length
ratio.  Level topline and correct turn of stifle.  When asked to
move was a real picture and this carried the day when awarding
her the CC and BOB.  Later went on to win a lovely group 3 in
excellent company.

Group Judge Mr Billy McKay

My Group 1 went to the Akita, Ch Stecal`s Step Out With Style, so aptly named,
so well presented.  An absolute pleasure to judge, when asked to move she floated
round the ring.  Delighted to give her the Group 1 and thrilled that she went on to
Best in Show.
Best in Show Judge Mr Robin Searle
BIS was the Akita bitch who never put a foot wrong throughout, balanced overall, large
head with almond shaped eyes, triangular ears, strong straight bone leading into well padded
feet, excellent body with deep wide brisket and large tail set high.  On the move her topline
remained firm and level, her movement was strong, true and powerful.

Big Thankyou to Billy McKay & Robin Searle for your lovely critique`s.

OB (8/5) 1 CC & BOB Bevis`s Ch. Stecal`s Step Out With Style and she does.
Completely eye catching and a super example of the breed.  Size, substance,
stunning headpiece being undeniably feminine, strong neck which is carried
proudly at all times, beautifully bodied and a backline which says it all.  On the
move she shows great power yet never over extends, keeping her shape and
going up and down I did not find a truer actioned dog or bitch all day.  No toeing
in or weak hocks here.  The moment they first went around I knew she had to win,
she is pure class, has power with quality and is totally at one with her clever handler.
Looked wonderful in the Group.

Big Thankyou to Albert Wight for you beautiful critique.

Utility Group 1

The winner was the Akita, Bevis`Ch Stecal`s Step Out with Style - and she certainly did! I thought she was a comfortable winner, beautiful head, eye and neck, well off for bone and excellent feet, Body was just right for substance firm and muscular good topline and tail set and really came into her own on the move smooth and powerful. In beautiful condition now a veteran but still has plenty to give.

Big Thankyou to Ernie Patterson for you beautiful critique.
